How to change time signatures when DJing in Ableton without using scenes?

Hello, I use Ableton Live to DJ with. I've recently run into a problem that I can't seem to find a workaround for.

So, I have a song that starts out as 4/4, has one 2/4 bar break, and then back into 4/4.

I have these clips spread out over three scenes and they are in the same track one after the other.

I use an MPD to scroll between scenes and launch/stop clips.
I know you can rename the scenes to "4/4" or "2/4" and that will change the global tempo of the project, but I don't to MIDI map a button or two for a few specific scene changes.

Is there a way to change the time signature by just going from clip to clip without having to launch the whole scene?

Yep, but not natively - You can do this exact function (as well as many others) with the free ClyphX. Here's a guide (copy and paste the below video link, but lose the space I added in the URL before the 'watch?v=' bit) which has a link to the script too watch?v=aCFFIVCculI
