How do I prevent Ableton from triggering the sequencer on my Korg Minilogue when I play a clip?

I have a Korg minilogue connected to a Komplete Audio 6 AI that I use for audio recording. After recording audio from the minilogue into a clip in Ableton, when I play back the clip (or play any other clip for that matter), the built-in sequencer on the minilogue will trigger and the synth will begin playing whatever sequence is stored. How do I prevent Ableton from triggering the sequencer on the minilogue every time I play a clip? Thanks a bunch for any help you can provide.

Make sure you have both "sync" and "remote" off in the Midi prefs Output to the Korg

Yes, but this way ableton is not sending sync tempo to minilogue.... is there a solution so that ableton doesn't trigger sequencer in minilogue but at the same time sending tempo sync?
