How do I get my M-Audio MIDISport Uno and Midi Keyboard to talk to Ableton?

Hi All,

Ableton n00b here. I just bought a M-Audio MidiSport Uno. I have it all installed and it appears in Ableton. My problem is connecting to my "old as shit" midi keyboard. I was gifted a hand-me-down Evolution MK-261. I do not see it connecting to MIDI in Ableton. In my preferences, is there a specific hardware option i need to select? Thanks.

If you installed the firmware drives for the midiport at it will see it as midisport uno. To get the VST with out lagging in time is my issue right now. Depending how early 1980's is your board the midi can be sketchy. Like Oberheim and Linn drum will not sync. Different lingo.
