How can i set up an Edirol PCR 300 on Ableton live ?

I can't find the name on the list of MIDI controllers and i don't know if there is a special procedure to set up my keyboard

    If it's not on the list of control surfaces, that's perfectly okay - those are just controllers that Ableton have made special custom scripts for. Your Edirol will function as a generic MIDI controller: in MIDI preferences, if you enable "track" you can use it to play MIDI data into tracks, and if you enable "remote" you can use Live's quick MIDI mappings (the "MIDI" button in the upper-right) to assign your knobs and sliders to most any control in Live.

    If you want some of the control surface benefits, such as, say automatically assigning the first 8 knobs to the first 8 controls on whatever device you've clicked on, you can roll your own control surface script for your controller, although it's somewhat more technical. Search for "user remote scripts."
