Freezing GUI MacBook

Hi really hoping someone can help me. I recently bought Live and have been experiencing freeze's all over the place with the GUI, its only affected the audio twice.

I recently installed a 1TB WD Blue HDD into my early '09 White MacBook and thought something got messed up when I cloned the drive so I did a fresh install of Mountain Lion and reinstalled Live 8.4 and 9.0.2 which I downloaded straight from Ableton. Now I decided it was best to check wether everything was ok before installing all the packs and it seemed fine, so I went ahead and installed the full suite and the issues started again!

What actually happens is when I zoom a waveform or try to preview a track, even sometimes while playing an arrangement the GUI freezes for a second and the HDD spins up. I did not experience any freezes while running the trials either.

Any ideas please??

I have the same problem, only when i'm in ableton, the system keeps running, even ableton keeps playing and sounding but there's nothing to do, it's like if the computer lost total control of trackpad and keyboard (on MacBook Pro),

Same problem here. Seems to happen occasionally when I'm moving a clip or multiple clips when audio is playing. This is massively inconvenient. Hope there is a fix soon!
