Export problem to mp3. I need help

I just starting making backing tracks for a band and want to be able to run it through iTunes.

I have several stems for each song depending what band members are playing that night. Guitar, backing vocals, keys, drums etc.

I watched many videos regarding this however no sound is being heard on iTunes when i start the song in iTunes. When i hit play the timer of the song shows it should be playing but nothing is heard.

In ableton I Highlight all the tracks I want to include in the mix from the start to the end. I select master and click export. The tracks export and I save them to the desktop.

I open I tunes and go to preferences and select convert to mp3 and then I drag the song into iTunes. Like I said I have watched several videos over and over and it appears easy to do but the ones I watched are only pulling one stem not several, could that be the problem?

I am sure there is a way to do it I am a newer user just trying to do my best. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're highlighting all the tracks you want to export, then you should choose Selected Tracks Only, not Master.
