Did clean install of macbook. Backed up all files/setting to time machine and re-installed. Each Ableton project now has most files missing?

My machine was running slow so I did a clean install. I backed everything up to an external harddrive using time machine, then I did a clean install. After this I re-installed all my files the way they were before I wiped the machine.

Now when I open any project all the files are missing?

Every file is present on the hard drive but not in ableton. I have no option to "repair library".

Any help please and thanks?

This happened because you removed the files first AND removed Live itself, including settings and preferences.
So to fix this, not only will you have to put everything back into the same location as before, but you will also have to tell Live where all the files are. You can do this by clicking on the red bar that says there are files missing. Open the file manager and see where Live thinks the files should be. If this is the same folder where you put the samples, simply tell Live where on of the samples is, then rescan for all other files. If all is in the same place as before, this should solve the problem.

However, i think you will have to do this for every single project that has missing files....
