Custom VST Folder not working in Live9 OSX Yosemite

Ive just installed Live9 64bit on OSX Yosemite.  I  was previously running 32bit with no problems.  I was using the custom plugins folder in the options to organise my plugins.

I set up a custom plugins folder then within that had folders called Effects and Instruments.

Now this isnt working. If I turn on the customs plugin folder option and select the folder nothing appears in the plugins section in the browser.

Anyone else experience this?
