Can you run Live 8 32-bit on Windows 8 64-bit?

Long-time Mac user here. Now with my first PC -- Windows 8 64-bit.

I installed Live 8 64-bit, but it was a weird install -- can't get Ableton native synths & FX's presets to show up. But that's another story.

Since I don't desperately need Live 64-bit, can I install Live 32-bit -- even though the OS is 64-bit?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, probably just about everyone who's using a non-beta version of Live is using a 32-bit version of Live on a 64-bit version of Windows, so you should be quite fine.  :)  64-bit Windows runs the same apps that work on 32-bit Windows in addition to 64-bit-specific ones.
