Can't resize audio clips to short durations

Sometimes when I try to resize an audio clip (making it shorter than 1/16th ), I find it impossible to make it shorter.

The shortest I can make these clips is 1/16th note in length, unless I instead mark and cut the stuff I want gone.

This is even with snap to grid set to off and an adaptive grid size.

I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation for it but I just can't figure it out.

Turning off the clip Warp function allowed me to resize audio clips to very short times.

I just tested this. It works fine for me. I can cut an audio clip to 1/128 easily, and I can use the Split command to cut it to even smaller durations.
