Can Drum Rack play long samples longer than 3 bars at Full Volume

OK, If you load a sample that's longer than 3 bars or so in "Drum Rack" and turn the "Release" up to trigger the sample to play all the way through, It won't play the sample all the way through at "Full Volume" it will play about 2 bars if that at "Full Volume" before it starts to fade out. The sample will still be playing just the "Volume" fades out until you can't here the sample anymore. I would like to be able to drag and drop let's say a 8 bar,16 bar "Loop" or maybe a whole song triggered from my pads in "Drum Rack" like "One Shots".

Now here's the funny thing, When you hold down your pad on say the MPD32 to trigger the sample it will play all the way through at "Full Volume" But if you just hit the pad and let the sample play all the way through like a MPC do "One Shots" it fades out.

Any help on this, Can Drum Rack do this.

Just drop a "Note Length" midi effect, infront of simpler/sampler. (make sure its on the right drum rack pad).  You need to set the mode to time then dial up the length.

Have fun and try some of the other midi effects like the arpeggiator!

For longer samples you must set Sutain to 0db to have the full volume all the time. Simpler & Sampler has a maximum release of 60sec, that's the limitation. I recommend to use a controller like Launchpad with clips, no drumrack.

I have another solution for that. Drum Racks use Simpler as a default. But if you click right mouse button and choose Simpler->Sampler then in Filter/Global inset find Loop box and change its value from None to Trigger then your sample will last forever ))

Choke it with another short sample to stop it and you get what you need.

Simple, but it took for me almost a year to find this solution ))
