Automation 'Snapshot' Possible?

Hey everyone!
After trying the 'Kapture' Max for Live device it got me thinking about the way Ableton handles and saves the automation data within a clip and I am wondering if anyone has any insight as to something I would like to do.
I want to be able to save the current AUX send setting within the session clips with a button click.  I know I can do the 'Record Automation' and barely tweak the knob to save the automation within a clip.  But what I want to do is set the sends (or any control that can be automated) to the desired setting, then 'snapshot' those settings into the clip without having to do any automation recording if that makes sense.   Set the values I want across multiple sends on the clip, and snapshot.  That way as I am launching different clips within a track, the send data will change without any 'recording'.
I like the 'Kapture' device, but that is another device rack and clip I need to keep track of, plus overwriting what I have saved in there is a nightmare.  I don't like the way it handles its presets.  I use all audio clips and 'Kapture' seems likes it more that I need.
Thanks Ableton geniuses!

You'll be wanting the new Isotonik/PP-Labs m4l device PPTC (can grab snapshots of multiple tracks) - or K-Device's TIP - (can grab snapshots just the one track, but is cheaper and has a wonderful randomise feature)

Search for something called Clyphx. Maybe that is the solution you are looking for?
