Audio Channel Transients are poor quality?
I've been trying to figure this out for months and finally figured out clearly what is going on, but no clue how to fix it.
When I have an audio file in a drum rack or sampler, it sounds just as clear and pristine as it did in the browser. But when I throw the same audio clip onto an Audio Channel, it loses the transient clarity.
I phase inverted a kick drum on a drum rack up against the same kick drum in an audio track and the only part that was different was the transient. There's a very noticeable difference between the two without having to do a phase flip test.
Any suggestions how to fix this would be great. I'm in 44100, but I've tried upping the sample rate at the beginning of a project to 96k and it's still the same thing. There's no warping, turning warp on and off makes no difference, and turning Hi-Q for the audio clip on and off doesn't change anything either.
