3rd party plug-in settings are lost after OS update

Every time I updated Mac OS (from 9 to 10, from 10 to 11) in the past,  some 3rd party plug-in settings are lost, although they should be saved in the Ableton Live Set.

Now I updated to MacOS 12 (Sierra), and again Stylus RMX is empty / set to default. But also Massive lost its settings in a set, it is empty. The TAL Bassline101 sound is still there, but the settings don't represent the settings of the macros that point to the parameters, the sound is completely screwd.

It is possible to restore the sounds if I saved them as an Ableton Live .aupreset, but I didn't do that for everything. Has anyone made similar experience? Do you know a remedy?

    The solution from Lennard Digital:

Open your Live Set, go to Preferences and do a plug-in rescan while holding the Alt / option key when you click. When it's done, re open your live set again (without saving) and your settings should be restored. It worked for me with Sylenth and my Korg plug-ins.
