Berlin-based music educator and electronic music artist Joana Melina Günther makes music production feel accessible, creative and way less intimidating. Her hands-on sessions with Live, Push and Move help beginners stop overthinking, trust their ears and start turning ideas into music.

Joana Melina Günther is a Berlin-based music educator, electronic music artist and Certified Trainer. She has been making music with Live since 2015 and teaching music production since 2018. In August 2026, she joined the global community of Ableton Certified Trainers. Joana holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and music facilitation in social work.
Her goal is to make music production accessible, exciting and way less intimidating. She breaks down complex tools and workflows into clear, hands-on steps, helping participants stop overthinking and start making music. Her sessions focus on Live, Push, Move, beat production, electronic music production, DJing and creative live performance.
She is especially passionate about working with beginners and creating welcoming spaces where people can experiment without pressure. In her workshops, Push and Move become intuitive instruments for exploring ideas, building confidence and finding an individual sound. Participants are encouraged to learn by doing, trust their ears and turn rough ideas into tracks. She also works with Max for Live and creates small tools that add structure, focus and playfulness to the learning process.
Her work as the electronic music artist DSHANNA brings real-world creative practice into every session. Through one-to-one lessons, group workshops and customized formats in German and English, she creates spaces where technology feels approachable, ideas can grow and making music stays at the center.
