Jelie is a rapper, producer, and engineer with a BS in Recording Arts and a minor in Music Business from the University of Colorado Denver. Centered in hipāhop and contemporary electronic styles, Jelie bridges musicality and technology to help artists move from rough ideas to polished, releaseāready tracks.
Fluent in Ableton Live, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Reason, and MPC workflows, Jelie has used Live extensively both in the studio and on stage, developing efficient systems for beatāmaking, arrangement, vocal production, and live performance setups. As a sound designer, Jelie has created presets, samples, and patches for platforms such as Splice, BandLab, and Reason Studios, giving producers readyātoāuse sounds that still leave room for personal expression.
Jelieās performance history includes festivals such as SXSW, Treefort, and Denverās Underground Music Showcase, bringing experience with backing tracks, hybrid sets, and artistāready live rigs. Drawing on this background, Jelie works with students on everything from building a first beat to designing full live performance sessions.
As an educator, Jelie has taught both youth and adults in community centers, high schools, and online spaces in oneāonāone and group formats.
