Eva van Dijk is a Berlin-based music producer, Ableton Certified Trainer, educator, and experimental pop artist originally from Melbourne. She began using Ableton Live as a young teenager and has developed a deep, intuitive understanding of the software through years of autodidactic learning. As a producer, Eva works primarily with alternative pop artists and on composition projects with a focus on sound design. Her production work is defined by a strong focus on texture, sensuality, and what she describes as “dark softness”—balancing technical precision with emotional depth. Her productions draw from a wide palette of influences, including world music, hyperpop, jazz, and ambient.

With over five years of professional experience producing and engineering in Ableton Live, Eva has collaborated with artists across Australia, Los Angeles, Paris, Cairo, and Berlin. She has released music both independently and through labels including Bassism Records and Whalesong Society, and has performed live internationally as a musician and guitarist, and also under her solo project.

As an educator, Eva is known for her thoughtful and empathetic teaching style, grounded in real-world industry experience. She teaches Ableton production and guitar in both private and classroom settings, as well as for Polyphase Berlin. She also teaches Psychology of Creativity and Creative Industries and Entrepreneurship. She is particularly interested in the intersection between music and mental health, and integrates this awareness into her teaching by creating supportive, accessible learning environments that prioritise both creative expression and wellbeing.

Eva is a former organizer of the Ableton User Group Berlin and remains deeply engaged in the global Ableton community. As a Certified Trainer, she is committed to being part of the change of fostering inclusive spaces and equipping artists with the technical skills, creative confidence, and critical perspective needed to realise their ideas.
