When the computer MIDI keyboard is activated with its button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, the keys belonging to it are no longer available for remote key mapping.

When importing MIDI files that were created in other applications, they play back transposed one octave in Live.
Some MIDI devices have presets containing assignments that do not use MIDI CC values. Live only recognizes MIDI CC.
Since Live 8.1.4, when connecting several APCs, Live combines their session frames to one unit internally, so you can change its position from any of the APCs.
MIDI data generated by AU plug-ins, e.g. containing an arpeggiator or separate internal sequencer, cannot be recorded into a MIDI clip.
The 3rd party control surface script for Novation Nocturn does not appear in Live's MIDI/SYNC preferences pane, even though it has been installed.
