Recording tempo changes when recording in ext sync

Hi,

Can I record changes on the Song tempo while recording audio ??

I have Traktor on a laptop being the master clock and Ableton is in ext sync as a slave.

During the session I can see the tempo change in Ableton  if Traktor is modifying the tempo.

If I record the Traktor session the arrangement view reflect perfectly what has been played but for playback I need to get out of external sync and then Ableton Live will default to 120 bpm. I can enter the bpm of the first song but things get difficult as the set progress

Can I record changes on the Song tempo while recording audio ??

    No traffic, so tried something.

If I MIDI map the tempo to a controller I can record the result in the Song Tempo lane.

If the changes are generated by an external clock, How do I record the result in the Song Tempo ^  No luck at this point.

Do I need to involve Max for Live to crate a dummy controller responding to tempo changes  to feed the Song Tempo envelope ^ Not that I would know how to do this, simply looking for a way to record the tempo map from an external clock.
