Latency... Possibly Keyboard?

Okay so I have some latency issues... but I'm sort of convinced its my keyboard I have a brand new computer with an i7 2700k all ssd drives along with an mbox, and a midiman midisport 4x4.

My keyboard is a Casio Privia px-330, using the mbox vs the midisport doesn't make a difference. I also have a huge issue with Sibelius's flexitime.

So I'm using some stuff from NI mainly Alicia's keys and the midi sort of works but its not like I can quantize it, and it is a pain to fix 16 bar loops note by note.

So.... The real question here is could it be the keyboard or is midi midi and it doesn't matter?

Another interesting fact to add would be I have no trouble using guitar rig which has a considerably higher latency reading in its program something like 10 ms at 256 samples. Also I guess it is important to note that using my VSTs in standalone there is no audible latency nor is the latency audible in Ableton I just have issues when it is recording it so maybe its not the keyboard, but I can't see any other link in the chain that could be failing lastly i'm using ableton with 128 samples or 256 so its not that.

Use your computer keyboard to play some midi notes to rule out your keyboard.

Could you figure out a solution?

I'm having similar latency problems with my keaboard in Live8, but since it works fine with my other software, it's obviously not the keyboatd itself.
