Cannot Hear Velocity Changes

Say I have..just a random drum pattern. I know how to change the velocities of any notes, that's not the problem. The problem is that when I change them, then play the clip, I cannot hear the change. Have I messed with a default setting on accident?

Thanks, Simon

Hi, In Ableton Live 9 you can find the velocity setting in the filler/Global tab in Sampler. It's called Vol<Vel and is initially set at 0%

Yo dude--if you're using a drum rack where each sample is thrown into Simpler make sure you open up the chain for the sample you're interested in and bump up the velocity sensitivity (it's in the bottom right corner shown in a percentage).  I think it's default setting is 0% meaning each sample is initially set to play at the set volume no matter the velocity.  Hope this helps.
