Updates to Move since release

Sample Slicing

Divide a sample into slices and assign them to individual Drum Rack pads – ideal for working with drum breaks or creating vocal chops.

Auto Pan-Tremolo

Create automatic panning, tremolo, and gating with Auto Pan-Tremolo, an audio effect first introduced in Live 12.3 and now adapted for Move.

Audio tracks with Warping

Record, process, and perform with audio, not just MIDI. Audio tracks let you add clips from the library, record directly from the microphone or another device, and run your sound through Move’s effects chain, turning Move into a fully-fledged effects box for studio and stage.

Link Audio

Send your sound to Live in real time. Stream audio from Move's Main Out or individual tracks to audio tracks in Live, with no additional setup required on Move.

Auto Shift

Keep things in tune, or throw them out of it. Auto Shift lets you tune and transform vocals and other monophonic signals, offering both pitch correction and creative transposition.

Full Sound Design with Drift Synthesizer

You can now control every sound parameter of the Drift synthesizer, including oscillators, envelopes, filters, modulation and much more.

Sample audio via USB-C

Sample sounds from a computer, phone tablet or other device connected via USB-C, and turn them into something new on Move.

Erosion

Texture and degrade your sound, from gentle tonal coloring to full-on noise.

Manage Sets and sounds with Move Manager

Upload and transfer Move Sets and samples and recordings with the browser-based Move Manager. and Note Sets in one place, and open them in Move with the Move Manager

16 Pitches

Play drum samples melodically using the 16 pads to the right of the Drum Rack pads. Notes from the 16 Pitches layout can be played, sequenced, recorded, and captured just like notes from any other pad layout.

Auto Filter

Auto Filter, a classic effect from Live, is now available on Move, along with its presets. Apply frequency-selective filters to modify your audio, try out filter and circuit types that emulate classic analog filters, and use modulation routing to add movement and complexity to your sound.

Send and receive MIDI

Share MIDI with external gear via Move’s USB-C and USB-A ports – including Ableton Live and Note, other DAWs and apps, Push Standalone and other compatible software and hardware.

MIDI sync

Move can now receive MIDI sync data from an external device, making it easier to stay in time with other gear.

Arpeggiator

Creates rhythmical patterns using the notes of a chord, or a single note.
