Move Beta Release Notes
Move 1.5.0b3
May 7, 2025
New features and improvements:
MIDI I/O
MIDI input and output can now be active simultaneously, and MIDI sending and receiving channels can now be configured for each Track.
Shift + Track button offers a menu with per-Track options for MIDI Out and MIDI In, next to the color setting.
MIDI In has a setting called âAutoâ which activates every MIDI In channel for the currently selected track, but filters out all MIDI In Channels which are explicitly assigned to other tracks.
- For example, if Track 1 has MIDI In set to Channel 5 and all the other tracks are on MIDI In Auto, whenever one of Tracks 2, 3 or 4 are selected, it receives MIDI notes from channels 1-4 and 6-16.
Sample Slicing
Move now supports sample slicing.
Enter slicing mode by Shift + Wheel click when the sample icon in the device chain is hovered, and then choosing âSliceâ. This slices your sample into equal regions.
Change the number of slices by turning the Wheel
Change overall slicing window and the adjust the individual slice points via the first three encoders
Changing parameter banks for drum pads has now moved to Shift + Wheel Turn when the sample icon in the device chain is hovered. This is in order to free up Shift + Wheel click for entering Slicing mode.
When you play drum pads, Move also now shows the start point and length of each sample if they have been adjusted. This is used to visually indicate the extents of each slice on the display.
MIDI Clock
Move can now receive MIDI Clock from an external device.
Press Shift + Step 2 to enter the Setup menu, then click on âMIDI Syncâ.
MIDI Sync now offers an additional âReceiveâ option.
Auto Filter
Filter audio effect and presets have been added.
Control Live Mode
In Control Live mode, Move now shows the phase of the longest playing full bar clip in Note Mode when the transport is running and an empty clip is selected.
