The founder of monotone, a European music composition and production collective, Sylvain has been a participant at the 2006 RedBull Music Academy in Melbourne, Australia. He has released a number of dance oriented records on a variety of labels over the years. Additionally, he has worked as a Music Tech consultant and helps artists to create and implement cutting edge solutions for audio performance.
An avid Ableton Live user since version 2, Sylvain is also behind TouchAble app, the IOS dedicated Ableton Live controller app for the iPad and iPhone, used on stage and in studio by a large community of Ableton Live users and famous artists around the world. Since the launching of the App in 2010, Sylvain has been showcasing TouchAble at the top music and technology events across the world.
Sylvain has a great ability of explaining fundamental concepts and production techniques in a simple manner and provides a fun and interactive learning environment.
Recently he teamed up with the Online Video Learning Editor elephorm.com, and presented a 17 hour video course on Live 9 and Push.
Ableton trainer at Apaxx Designs, Paris, and at Fastlane in Montpellier, Sylvain also provides traditional, or online, one-on-one training in live performance and production for users of all levels.
