Pien Breeuwsma is an electronic music artist, performer and Ableton coach exploring the creative possibilities of live electronics. Her sessions focus on turning ideas into music, developing individual workflows and creating live sets that stay dynamic, spontaneous and personal.

Alongside her artistic practice, Pien teaches Ableton Live production and live performance through private lessons, workshops and masterclasses. She has given workshops at Conservatory Haarlem, Abbey Road Institute, Relate Radio and has presented Ableton products at Amsterdam Dance Event and Le Guess Who?.
As Scalio, Pien released her debut EP on United Identities, the label founded by Carista. She has performed at Radio Radio, Annabel, DGTL and supported Kelly Lee Owens. She was also part of the 2026 DGTL Academy. In 2026 she will make her ADE debut at Doka as part of a United Identities showcase.
Pien uses Ableton Live as an instrument at the heart of her creative and live practice. The Push 3 Standalone forms the core of her live setup, giving her the freedom to build and shape her music in the moment. She also uses Move as a dedicated jam station to experiment with ideas, rhythms and sounds, helping her keep developing her material and ensuring that no two live sets are exactly the same. For Pien, the technology is not just a tool for reproducing finished music, but a way to keep her live performance evolving and spontaneous.
