Jelie is a rapper, producer, and engineer with a BS in Recording Arts and a minor in Music Business from the University of Colorado Denver. Centered in hipâhop and contemporary electronic styles, Jelie bridges musicality and technology to help artists move from rough ideas to polished, releaseâready tracks.
Fluent in Ableton Live, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Reason, and MPC workflows, Jelie has used Live extensively both in the studio and on stage, developing efficient systems for beatâmaking, arrangement, vocal production, and live performance setups. As a sound designer, Jelie has created presets, samples, and patches for platforms such as Splice, BandLab, and Reason Studios, giving producers readyâtoâuse sounds that still leave room for personal expression.
Jelieâs performance history includes festivals such as SXSW, Treefort, and Denverâs Underground Music Showcase, bringing experience with backing tracks, hybrid sets, and artistâready live rigs. Drawing on this background, Jelie works with students on everything from building a first beat to designing full live performance sessions.
As an educator, Jelie has taught both youth and adults in community centers, high schools, and online spaces in oneâonâone and group formats. Lessons focus on clear, goalâdriven outcomes: finishing songs, building custom templates, understanding core production concepts, and developing a personal sound. Jelieâs teaching style is handsâon, patient, and practical, making complex ideas approachable for beginners while still challenging more advanced producers to refine their workflows and artistic vision.
