Please send your beta related feedback to beta@ableton.com or use the Bugs and Problems section of the forum.
Please keep in mind that it is helpful to know if a certain bug or problem you run into already exists in Live 7.0,1. or a previous Beta version
Kind Regards
/Alex
Changes from Live 7.0.2b4 to Live 7.0.2b5
Improvements
Updated English Manual.
Control Surface support for the Korg ZERO8.
Previous verson of Live only accepted zero-length MIDI notes when the Options.txt entry “-_AllowZeroDurationNotes” was set. Now zero-length MIDI notes are accepted by default and the option is not longer required.
Bug fixes
If the default installation of packages failed the first time, the installation would not run when starting Live the next time.
On Windows, sending and receiving non-sysex MIDI data to or from external MIDI ports can lead to audio drop outs when using certain audio interfaces via ASIO (for instance the Line 6 Toneport series).
Using the Hi-Q mode of the Dynamic Tube or the Saturator could introduce a notch in the frequency spectrum of the audio signal.

On certain conditions, the sample priming for the Sampler would not work properly when “Osc” is enabled.

Do you have any documentation for this Control Surface support? I mean, description of functionality? THanks,
Andreas.
Has this been fixed? Renaming a device will not display that new name on BCFView (BCF2000)
And:
When you drop a device into a return, the track will take the name of that device. In a clip the send that sends to that return will also get that name, now when you delete or drop a new device to replace thee old one, the automation parameter still has the old name.
Sorry I can't check the beta's I don't have Internet in my house at the moment, changing providers.

Has the fact that the Korg Kontrol 49 native mode is not working in live 7.01, been addressed in these updates.

Look up in the Ableton logo when you're in the disk image, the folder is up there. This was like this in b4 too, took me a second to see it.The Phat Conductor wrote:the disk image on my beta is buggy.

i'll copy that here also:
i still get crackles with the remoteSL, even with all midi ports set to MME.
not so much when turning the knobs, but when pressing several times and quickly on the "page" buttons on the side (the ones that have a LED next to it, for example on the left of the first row of knobs).
strange cause these buttons are not supposed to send any midi data, they're just a remoteSL display thing. but when i press them several times, CPU goes up by 10%+ and i get crackles.
very annoying.

maybe i should have stated that automap is completely disabled. i use the unit as a standard midi controler that just sends CCs mapped to live parameters (and since the remoteSL doesn't update the parameters, i've switched off the out ports in live)Timur wrote:Everything the SL displays on its LCD is coming from Live. So when you press those buttons Live has to send new display data to the SL.
