Gad vide hvornår? Jeg så dem i 2000/2001(?) og husker det ikke som om der var så mange mennesker.. stadig fed koncert, dog.

Classic era 'Head (Lem, Fast Eddie and Philthy) terrorising German youth:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b97LFe7Xphk

Philthy once busted his hand 'off someone's face' and managed to continue gigging by gaffa taping the stick to his hand :twisted: The only 'rock' band the punks ever liked...

nope, the way I heard it - from the horses mouth via an interview recorded on video - was he was always bumming cash (etc) off people, most notably five pounds. 'lemmy a fiver' ....'lend me' became 'lemmy' , because he said it so often, in much the same way 'give me' becomes 'gimme'

That was on some late night tv on channel 4, there was also talk of sex, drugs, starring in a porn (newish at the time) about that 'bobbit' incident where a guy got his cock chopped off by his angry girlfriend. Basically if he got the nick for saying 'lemmy have it' regarding drug-use....he'd have said it on this show for sure.
Cheers B;

I'm an old bastard and heard this tale 20 odd years ago so may have a few corrupt files in my head....

Must defrag it soon...

Must also watch more TV instead of talking to drug addled old hippies .......... :D 8O :?:

Can't wait for this movie. Motörhead is one of my favorites. I've seen them seven or eight times. Always a good time. They still make good records after all these years. Mikky Dee is an absolutely smoking drummer. Check out All in the Name of Tragedy, off of Inferno.

"They used to open their shows with Lemmy croaking, "We're Motörhead, and we're gonna kick your ass."

Ah, this is COOL! Thanks man! I love Lemmy. More the guy/character than his music although I love the music too. What can you say about a guy that was a roadie for Hendrix?

I STRONGLY recommend the book White Line Fever. It's a riot from start to stop and answers all those rumored questions. Truth be known, that cat was 10 times more nutz than any of the rumors lead you to believe. A true icon.
