343 Labs

  • Berlin Germany

343 Labs started as a music production school and community in New York City in 2018, and soon grew into a leader for electronic music education. In July 2020, 343 Labs opened its second location at the iconic Riverside Studios in Berlin, making it the only school with locations in both electronic music capitals, New York and Berlin. With some of the world’s most accomplished producers on its teaching roster, of which three are Ableton Certified Trainers, students can expect an exceptional educational experience, in Berlin, NYC and online.

343 Labs has locations in both New York City and Berlin, as well as a diverse online course offering. Besides its cutting-edge music production classes and curriculum taught by world-class instructors, 343 Labs emphasizes its ever-growing, inclusive community of producers, artists and educators. The 343 Labs community is non-discriminatory and comprises people of diverse cultures, genders, races and experience levels. Spanning an equally diverse range of musical genres, it offers free daily educational events via its Discord server and YouTube channel, such as masterclasses, feedback sessions, performance opportunities and contests.

343 Labs also gives students lifetime access to their network of education and industry partners – even after graduating – including label releases of their own tracks, performances in NYC nightclubs, and ongoing mentorship from instructors and alums. We hope that you will be able to join us on your journey in becoming the best musician you can, and look forward to having you join the 343 Labs family. Teaching Philosophy & Curriculum

Our curriculum is the result of our expert instructors collectively teaching thousands of students how to make music to their fullest potential. When designing the courses, our goal was to provide a solid foundation to learn music production and performance in a structured way; however, we also wanted to have the flexibility to adapt our curriculum according to each student’s specific needs, experience and interests. Our class sizes are kept small to ensure an intimate learning environment, and to allow our instructors to focus on the individual needs of our students.

Online Classes

We like to think of our online classes as virtual classes, since they are taught in real-time using video conferencing technology, and taught by the same great instructors that teach at our New York and Berlin locations. This means classes can be taken from the comfort of your home, but are fully interactive; you can ask questions just like you would in an in-person class, and you will get feedback from your instructor right there on the spot. In addition, all classes are recorded, so if you want to go back to review a concept, or if you missed a class, you can. We make our online experience as interactive as possible with numerous online platforms available for students to engage with fellow students and teachers throughout the week.
