Did 8.2 change Plug-in Display?

In the version prior to 8,2, the guys at Ableton made all plug-ins stay in the forefront unless you closed them. This way, you could click in the background on whatever and the plug-in would not disappear. This feature is now gone again in live 8.2.

Am I loosing it, did I dream that this was the case?

theres an option in the prefs to keep the plug ins in view or hide when you click on another channel etc. check the default has not changed.

the prefs of 8.2 are imported from the last "official" release version. the betas have their own "prefs path" - at least on PC platform.
so just check the setting of your latest installed release version.
