Obama wins, Dems will crush the weak-ass republicans cuz...

* The Democrats finally found their balls and are completely united.

* Obama will absolutely SLAUGHTER! McCain in the debates.

* Obama has Bill Clinton's great economic record to ride on.

* Republicans are fragmented and have some balls left but they look like raisins.

* McCain's can barely get his tongue out of bush's ass and the sad thing is that
Bush smeared McCain during previous campaigns. Sad irony and McCain won't survive it.

* McCain has George Bush's economic record and war record to ride on.

I'm gonna enjoy this 8)

Yeah I sorta see what you mean, electing a new pleb like any other country which is a sold out waste of space will really make a difference :D

i hate to say it, but I don't think so.

my money is on McCain.

Remember we're talking about a nation that elected W Bush to a second term. We're also talking about a population that has a pretty large segment of fairly racist white folks, most of which don't air their racism in public...

And maybe if McCain is elected, he'll drive the country so far into the shit that we'll have to actually change something. might not be so bad to really fuck up.

If Obama is elected, he's not going to magically change the US. It'll be a band aid, for sure, but the bleeding will continue.

I'll take that bet. And I'll be in NYC over thanksgiving, so I can pay up over a brew. What shall we wager?

Well damn, you don't bet on the dude who you think will win, you bet on the dude who you want to win.

As a president, who do you prefer?

I go back and forth between Maine and the atlantic coast area pretty regularly.

i have family there and i go back to work for the family business every once in a while. (sustainable lumber)

who do i prefer? Obama, but by a very slim margin. I don't think it makes much of a difference, to be honest.

I can tell you they will hate Obama as they hated Bill.

Banks and corporations are fucked up entities for sure, but there was a gigantic difference here when Bill Clinton was running things. If he had a third and forth term, things would have been A LOT different compared to bush no?. With Bill, I saw neighborhoods that were f'd up for 30 years spring to life. Things we're greatly improving with over-sea relations, middle class and poor were coming up and Obama will get it there too. I'm old enough to have seen cross country change like that.

But i get the apathy, Bush set us back a hell of a long way. At 47 i'm feeling very ripped off. It's possible that post Obama, there could be another a-hole prez setback, but ya gotta forge ahead even for things we may not be alive for.

It matters who becomes president.

Well as much as I admire the percieved power of people doing whats right I wont fall victim to it.

Here in OZcunterland our newly elected Government has already renegged on many promises which counted heavily into their "New vision" for the country which they were voted in for....

But then again the green party hold important senate seats here ;)
