You can download the release candidate, but I'm a little timid. Anyone using it now? :?

I've heard very good things wrt increased performance in DAWs/Music Software.

Not brave enough to try it myself yet...

Works pretty well.

Painass free update procedure untill now.

Sp3 is pretty welcome around here, still on a test machine not on main production machine.

SP3 RC installed...No issues for the past month on all 4 of my machines at home, including my DAW.

I just did a full reinstall and put SP3 on. Prior to reinstall, it would get about 2/3 through setup, and then at the point where it was trying to start services, it would just sit there. I'm guessing it had to do with how I had my services tweaked already. After a fresh SP2 install, I immediately did SP3 with no install problems. But I had a strange issue with my onboard audio drivers not working, and needing to manually install the Windows Bus Driver... but the reason I did a full reinstall in the first place was to correct a strange thing that occurred, partly affecting the onboard audio (http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight=). Once that was fixed, everything seems to be running as good or better than before.
