Live 7 Street Date Yet?
Live 7 Street Date Yet?
Sorry if repeat topic - wondering if the Abe's have let anything slip on the release date.
The last beta (17) expires rather quickly - release on 11/17, expires on the 23rd.
Could that be a hint that the final product is close?

someone's been watching "the Wire".I have 51 tons of the Live 7 coming into the port of Baltimore in over seas containers this afternoon. I have guys on the docks so customs wont be an issue. Once it's cleared my people should be able to have it on the streets by this coming Friday.

If you think that is bad, you should try snorting Live off the ass of a dead hooker.nebulae wrote:That copy is dubbed in Chinese and you have to use subtitles...and you can actually hear some dude eating popcorn. Man, your standards have really sunk low...I mean do you know how bad popcorn sounds in a 64-bit mix engine?beats me wrote:I've already bought 7 out this dude's car trunk in Oakland.
15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.
I was originally suspicious of this too when the splash screen had a "6" crossed out using the photoshop airbrush tool with a "7" on top of it, but other than not having the slicer, sidechaining, spectrum analyzer, or any of the new instruments I think it's still 7.nebulae wrote:That copy is dubbed in Chinese and you have to use subtitles...and you can actually hear some dude eating popcorn. His cousin also pushes an ice cream cart around town filled with Lemurs for $200 a pop.
Yep, good eye. Looks like I'm not the only one who watches the Wire...nylarch wrote:someone's been watching "the Wire".I have 51 tons of the Live 7 coming into the port of Baltimore in over seas containers this afternoon. Statement was definitely inspired by season 2, Frank Sobotka and the other guys down on the terminal.
I'm Baltimore born and raised man, I have to watch the Wire!
Season 5 starts in January, you down? Apparently McNulty is back on the sauce.

before I became a tarnce superstar I did social work on the mean streets of Chicago and IMHO "the Wire" is the finest depiction of street life ever painted on screen. Unbelievably rich characters on both the cops and robbers side. "Omar" has to be one of the best characters on TV ever. "Come at the king you best not miss".
I haven't seen season 4 yet but I just got done with 3 - its unbelievable.
