hot new music genre
Time for some stupidity. Name the hot new music genre you just invented last night. Feel free to give a description if you see fit.
Maximal - the new Big Beat

'Entropy' ... a more organic digital music...
just kidding right...?
and seriously:
I try and make as many 'drones' as you can fit
in the hearing spectrum using various Feedbacks...
many (not SO many) weird sounds running very loosely synced to one another...
Funky beats... (808+drumset) distorted wildely!!!
no musical notes played...
while I do that.. I map out all of my bcr to 'important' params.
(dly time,sends,eq frq etc.)
...all that's left to do is press the arrange 'rec' and fiddle away....
Basically its just making a lot of noise ...
I love audio FEEDBACK !!!
and I love Distortions to death lately!!!
I also have stated using compressors more as an fx
and less as for it's traditional role (dynamics killing/envelope)
and everytime you play it back in live it soundz a bit different
as I record automation not audio...
when I play it back I use 'resample'
to record it to audio then pick the nicest one...
it sounds like entropy...
on a PA system it's virtually unlitenable for more than 20 mins. !!!!
unless you have a strong stomach and nice earplugs...HARDCORE...
