I've heard good things about the M-Audio LX4 2.1 setup with the subwoofer.

I bought a pair of KRK RP5 two weeks ago. They sound crystal clear and sound very good even on low volumes.
I like!

I don't know about that. Junkie XL and Crystal Method must hear good things from them to use them.

It's not the price tag or name of brand that makes speakers sound good. It's more about knowing your own speakers well and how it translates in other setups.

I'm absolutely besotted with my Adam A7s. They're really, really fantastic monitors. My mixes have improved tenfold since I started using them. Worth every penny.

Dont fall so easily for the endorser trick it is all about money. However the analogy is like you married to a bitch no matter how well you know her she will be the bitch, does knowing that make the situation that much better ?

Event ALP 5 are a good cheaper alternative

was having a bit of trouble with them at first, because i'd just moved into my apartment and it took me a while to figure out the accoustics, but i think i already have it wired, and the sound is great!!!!! :D

I don't think Junkie XL is endorsed by them but he did recommend them and said he uses them in his interview (unless remix mag is somehow involved in this endorser trick conspiracy too ) Crytstal Method are endorsed but they use it while touring and seemed sincere about liking them in this video interview. But I don't care about who's using what product. It just seems like for some people it's all about the money in the sense that anything below a certain price is thought to be useless.

I currently use Bluesky mediadesk 2.1 and KRK RP6's.

If you need to have accurate mixing id say the blueskys. ..

Ive had Monitor One mkI and also mixed down a lot on Monitor TWO's and they are arguably some of the worst sounding speakers I have used.

KRK if you aren't anal about your mixing and Bluesky if you are.
