Note Length ?

Hi ,

Does anyone have any examples they can share regarding note length? I don't get it (yet).

Well,eg if you want to play staccato patterns.

Another is to use the note of actually - for example sample libs with note of import into sampler with one sampler playing the note ons and the other has that note length infornt and plays note off.
