How did you guys come up with your DJ / PA names?
Been rolling through a few myself, but haven't settled on one yet.
Me = More PA, less DJ, so I don't really wanna be "DJ Handjob" or whatever...
And I dunno, looking up the latest Hawking quote and being "QuantumFluxSingularity" sounds kinda gay too.
Thoughts?
(Apologies to DJ Handjob and QuantumFluxSingularity, if you guys are on this forum)

just do what computo did. use some prop...like a cardboard box, cut some holes out and place it on your shoulders. Well done, Boxman, you now have a name.

I took my Old DJ name "Edit-One" and flipped it to "enotide", it was just more unique that way.

I admire those with the self-confidence and self-esteem to avoid the insecurity of the pretentious 20th-century superstar-wannabee "DJ" prefix and some made-up word, and use with pride what's on their birth certificate instead.

How about "Edi-Tone"? Sounds cooler IMO

'Make' good tunes, or play someone else's good tunes?
I think we're mixing up DJs and musicians here...

The music is first and foremost... absolutely! You're right... the name has nothing to do with it.
I just like to see quality musicians/DJs/actors/whatever proud enough to use their own names without the insecurity and need to hide behind an alias.
