Hey Abletoners,
I think you should incorporate a FULL FEATURED metronome in Live.
No other DAW properly does this, in the same style as the Roland Dr Beat.
The Dr Beat is the seminal Metronome for professional musicians.
It does subdivisions, triplets, Any combination possible. You guys could take it to the next level.
Live is already a GREAT practice tool, especially for Guitarists, with the quality of warping... Finish the job, and make it the ultimate practice tool, for anyone.
Full Featured Metronome

Yes. I second that.computo wrote:Hey Abletoners,

.
For a metronome (usually when warping tracks) I have a single drum loop from a track 4 bars long and place it in its own channel called metronome. It's a lot easier when trying to determine if something is warped wrong and isn't on measure when you have a loop that has a definite beginning and end that also has a visual indicator. You can both watch and listen to ensure that the end of a loop coincides with the end of a measure in the other track.
The pong-pong-pong-PING metro is useless to me.
