Mix sounds good to me. However you can both see and hear dynamics in your mix so you didn't master it enough. :)

I like its minimal sound. It has kind of an older sound to my ears but I can't keep up with what is new, old, retro, revisited, repurposed, a homage, or completely original.

OK I will put a limiter on it and squash it like a mofo 8)

My main concern is with the percussion - that kick still sound kinda boxy.

this is the latest item me and my brother have sorted out with our joint improvising project. kind of a TG cabaret voltaire influence i guess. me doing all bits in ableton and him using his minibrute thing

i just been listening to that spectrum glider track at work. sounded pretty well made on my little earbuds in the office. dunno really who i would say it sounds like? maybe some boards of canada but i'm not that much of an expert on them. good little piece, cheers :)

A new Trance 2.0 (Progressive) tune, Listen to the Rhythm https://soundcloud.com/garryknight/listen-to-the-rhythm

I like those fairly quiet breakdowns in regular trance but wanted to get a full, lush, melodic breakdown in this one. What do you think?

Thanks for the feedback :)

I ended up tweaking it quite a lot and completely changing the preset for the lead.

Not sure if it works: the sound is cleaner but a little less soulful

Now that SoundCloud has removed that *&%! block, here's my contribution for January. A bit of dark Techno:

nice, especially the last third. despite my hatred of dancing and my inability to make anything sounding remotely like it, i actually like techno music. i don't really know much about it but i like it most when it's dark and minimal.

here's the latest improvised experimental calamity me and my brother came up with as we dragged our bloated festive cadavers out of christmas and stumbled into the new year :

Very nice track! I love how the bassline comes in so subtly and sonicly draws you into the song. Then the lead drifts around the audio field, both left to right and back to front, without being obvious. Really nice effect! Overall, the mix has space and open-ness that fits the overall mood of the song. And lots of little nuances to catch your ear. I dig it.
