Wow, looks like a lot of feature requests have been listened to. PDC, freeze tracks... and the ability to change track widths. I'm not overly sure about the new effects though, but it looks like a fair enough upgrade.

One moan : No mention of dual processor support ...

Are there any changes/improvements to assigning midi controllers to parameters?

Sounds excellent to me, an excellent selection of user (us) selected stuff and some "wow" improvements e.g.Automatic warp marking on imported MP3's. I wonder if it'll convert them to audio first? Saturator = Brilliant. Arppegiator = magic. Adc, foldable tracks, the new browser stuff, silmultanious editing of multiple clips....... I'm also very very happy about the combinator style grouping of effects and instruments and the way clips retain settings.
