Has anybody made an OSC to midi converter that will run within MAX for LIVE?

Since there is no standard OSC format for MIDI messages you can't build an universal converter.

You'll have to be specific.

For instance, my band combines midi formatted messaging and OSC-friendly listy high-speed, 32-bit bullshit strings in a manic frenzy.

...do we convert BACK to midi sometimes? Yeah, I can think of a couple of places where we do.

...does that mean that I can give that patch away and someone else could use it? Absolutely not. They're highly specialized systems that only work between specific patches.
