newb abelton - mix without warping?

Post by unknown00 » Tue Jul 03, 2012 12:20 am

i'm coming from a sony acid background. in sony acid, i could have it beatmap the track automatically which determines the bpm and downbeats (i guess kinda like warping) or i can just select the first downbeat, insert the bpm myself and it will have everything correct. is there a similar feature in ableton where i can just give it a bpm and it will have all the markers set and bpm correct? reason i ask, is if i want to make a mixtape, having to warp like 50+ tracks is kinda annoying. no i'm not doing this midi, all ableton program internal with mouse/keyboard

No. You'll need to warp the tracks.
