Hi folks,
We have just uploaded a new beta version of the upcoming Live bug fix update.
We decided to make this "some kind" of public beta, but with very reduced
support from our side. That means, please send your Live 4.1.4 beta feedback ONLY to beta@ableton.com.
Please do not post feedback in the forum or send to our support.
Please do not send general Live questions or feature wishes.
Mac OS X: http://www.ableton.com/_common/download ... e411b4.sit
Mac Os 9: http://www.ableton.com/_common/download ... e411b4.hqx
Windows: http://www.ableton.com/_common/download ... e411b4.zip
Current version: Live 4.1.1b4
Limitations:
- a Live 4 serial is needed to unlock
- will run only until 8h March
- does not contain Manuals
- does not contain Starter Sets
- the Windows version does contain some additional debug code to create crash logs.
Therefore the version is about 10% to 20% slower as the final release version.
thanks and regards,
Alex

Bug: Crash with VST side chain Plug-ins
Hmm wondering if this means - all other things being ok - that Live will now support true VST sidechaining (ducking etc)? Sounds like it *fingers crossed*

Yes, they seem to be working fine now. Personally, I've only tested the Slim Slow Slider sidechainers, but they were both crashing 4.1 before. I've been deleting and dragging both audio and midi channels that have sidechains connected, everything seems pretty good so far.supster wrote:Bug: Crash with VST side chain Plug-ins
