Automatic Delay Compensation (ADC)
I looked into the last 2 pages of wishes, and didn't see a general request, only a Powercore request for ADC.
As I have a UAD-1 and Powercore, as well as a few plugins that add a huge amount of latency to the track, this would be great for me. I guess I'll still have to bounce my tracks to disc and mix in Nuendo...

Just want to bump this and add a link to the discussion about it in the General Forum, where it seems to have been lost amongst the other threads: http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12728

Another vote for PDC toward the top o' the list. FX-Teleport, impulse reverbs. FX-Teleport in Live would be the cats PJs!

Oh it's been requested a few times, I myself log on ever other day to ask for it when I start getting pissed offgeorgelegeriii wrote:I looked into the last 2 pages of wishes, and didn't see a general request, only a Powercore request for ADC.

the waves Ultra-pitch for example is completely unusable, which shits me to tears, but alot of others are out enough to make it really irritating
it could be the difference between sacking my other hosts altogether, but at present I cant quite
forge, if the ultrapitch is of fixed delay, work out what it is, and then route every track apart from the one with the ultrapitch through to a single audio track. Add a simple delay of the right number of ms to this channel and lo and behold, you have just simulated ADC.
This is less than ideal (obviously) but remember that ADC is a luxury we've not had for very long and there are quite effective ways of dealing with latency - they're just a bit annoying.
THis method can be used in multi-level fashion to stagger delay any number of channels to account for any number of plugins. It just doesn't look neat

how can you adjust the delay of a channel in Live? I've asked for that before too - didn't think you could do itSly One wrote:forge, if the ultrapitch is of fixed delay, work out what it is, and then route every track apart from the one with the ultrapitch through to a single audio track.
