Henke creates rain, how did he get so many sends?

Just got done watching Robert Henke on you tube making rain out of snippets of samples, but each track had a but load of sends.
What gives? Didn't find anything in the manual. Any clues how he did it?

right click, add return track, repeat until you have a henkeload.

I was wondering if anyone could expain to me what he means when he says "the sends are feeding back each other.....send matrix"..... i dont know how to set it up and the video is hard to see. i'm trying to learn this and am failing miserably. please help

Didn't try it recently but you should know that a henkeload is a maximum of 12 as far as sends are concerned.

On the Return track you can right click and "Enable Sends" .. if you enable Send A on Return A then it's feeding back on itself, or you can send sends into other sends.. sally sells sea shells by the sea shore

i'm getting closer.... is there any specific settings on the grain delay or eq? i get a cool effect, but just trying to learn and would like to get that thunderstorm thing... by the way, thanks for replying to a thread that started over a year ago...
