loading .adv files into sampler takes a *long* time

Loading an adv file into sampler, even a small one like "Brass Attack.adv" takes a very long time to register. Sampler won't respond to notes for quite a while after loading a file like this.

System is Live 7.0.12 on a Mac running 10.5.5.

I could not find a problem over here. Do you experience the longer loading time since updating to Live 7.0.12? Please contact support@ableton.com with your log.txt attached, you can find it here:
user/library/preferences/ableton/live 7.0.12

Actually, it appears that what happens is that Live doesn't load the adv file at all until I switch to another app, then switch focus back to Live. I'm seeing this on a Mac and a PC.
