Anyone find a price?

I want the LPK25 and the LPD8...

I'm still searching now, but have had no luck so far.

The thing I want to know about the LPK25 is, where in the fuck are the mod and pitch wheels? Something about Akai, their design is somehow half-tarded. Super high quality overbuilt kind of stuff, with something totally stupid missing or poorly implemented. An arpeggiator instead. Cute, but really? Has there ever been a single keyboard controller built that doesn't include mod and pitch?

That said, they probably own me already, because I've already destroyed a key on my nanoKEY, with more sure to come. As much as I really do love it, it's built like shit. But at least Korg tried to jam-pack their pieces of shit with the most essential or desirable features.

It doesn't have to be a wheel, obviously. Look at the nanoKEY. Buttons work fine. Like, maybe where the arpeggiator ones are. Sheesh.

If one of these companies were smart, they'd think about putting a 4-way joypad on these things, like the ones on xbox controllers. Cheap, durable, relatively functional, tiny. Problem solved.

Regular sized gear is just great, for your desk.

I think 12 x 4 would be cool. You could use the 4 rows of 8 as 1, 32 step or 2, 16 step sequencers and have a 4 x 4 section for other functions.
