It is nothing groundbreaking, they simply corrected what was wrong/ missing in original SL- pads are better, buttons have leds, faders are longer. Zero has reasonable form, more ergonomic/flat, they are chainable so will probably get 2 of them. I liked the Akai/Live too, works out of the box, easy for any live user Numark build "quality" is nothing great but not too bad.
These 2 were all that I find interesting,, otherwise didnt see anything groundbreaking on the Messe, companies ignoring it increase, Logic/Apple disappeared years ago, propellerheads too, NI isnt there, for me was more of socialising, meeting friends, musicians from all over the world.,Left earlier today, to enjoy first spring day in Frankfurt with friends, maybe tomorrow will see some exciting stuff
Sorry to disappoint you Neb, this year no photos of pretty ladies, there were none there.
i liked the new Novation SL -Frankfurt Messe

Thanks for the info rikhyray.
It really does look they've fine tuned the design of the Zero as the tweaks to the layout make it look less fiddly. Better faders was always something I was after and the encoders from the Nocturn feel far better, aside from now having the LED ring. You mention that the pads are better, are they feasibly usable to actually program drums with now? The Mk1s were pretty unusable for anything other than triggering clips etc.
Pretty keen on this, but that price tag is a bit scary (£299 on DV)

The light rings are there too, pads look and feel better, and they told me that they are different. I was there at the official champagne and fireworks thingy ( great sweets ) and didnt play it, tomorrow surely will.
Unfortunatelly no April Fools, Warwick 50 Cheh models crew seemms to be on time event (last year). No strippers in the software hall (used to be every year in front of M audio).
