beta testers when?

what usually happens? live is announced then the beta testing? i cant remember

they announce beta testing dates and start taking sign ups in this forum - or at least that occurred last time. The first round of beta testing is usually quite limited but opens up to more as the testing goes on.

It usually gets announced to coincide with a solar eclipse. That way everyone loses their superhuman abilities and turns mortal for that brief period. This in turn leads the way for the one they call Henke to come down and choose his followers to beta test. Usually, those people who are fastest on the F5 key receive the blessing.

Then the chosen ones follow the Henke to the sacred land of Ze Germans where they begin the beta testing in secrecy.

I'm willing to bet there are already a chosen few beta testing right now. It will be the people who usually post in here a lot and then all of a sudden silence or rare posts.

last time out, beta testing began early September and the product came out after about 21 beta versions last week in November.

I think that within a few hours of announcing the first beta testing on this forum, they had enough testers. I was lucky that I saw the announcement within about 5 minutes of being posted and got in from the beginning. They always limit the first round of beta testing but usually after that everyone who wants to get involved is able to do so, I think that occured from about live 7 beta 9 onwards. *given that some of the beta were only active for 3 days or so, it was pretty quick for the second round of testers*
