The reviews are good. But the have a tilt on them and can't be set straight.
So they are goo if u need to tilt your monitors don towards your ears.
But if no u may have to find a way to make the mons higher so that when they tilt u are still i the sweet spot.
Don't understand why they didn't manufacture them in 2 pieces.

Any upholstery shop will custom cut hi-density foam for you. I figured out the width, depth, height and angle I wanted and had 'em made for $7 USD.

I used work with this stuff a few years ago; Brand name is Plastazote. Its the same material they use in Snap-on Tool boxes. Low to high density, comes in various grades, eg: LD45, LD24, & LD60 etc.. the higher the grade, the more dense it is. Suggest going for LD24 or lower as harder grades would reflect rather than absorb sound.
Once cut to size, parts can be 'welded' together using a standard heat gun/paint stripper.
Still see a few old mates from where Im used to work so had them cut me a few bass traps and some acoustic tyles.
Its not what you know......

Yo misteron, actually those monitor iso things came in 2 bits. you can either have em straight or slanting down or up. I have em pointing down cos otherwise they would be pointing at the top of my head, not my ears. One set is acrulex, and the other I dont know. They both tighten up the midrange and bass hella lots though.

the crucial detail in acoustic foam is that is needs to be open cell.
Furniture foam and packing form is normally closed cell, acoustic foam is open cell.
99% of furniture foam is no good for acoustic purposes.

Definitely still a works in progress!
Everything is pre-wired and shock-mounted in place, so the flight cases wheel from studio > van > gig and back again. I find it easier to have the studio and live setup the same.

Arkaos VJ.
I like the synth analogy interface. It makes it easy to sequence and play video just like a music synth.

Dude how do you like the Alesis Micron?
I just recently sold an Ion. I quite liked it. Often thought Id like the Micron because of the same sound engine but with extra effects and sequencer. Though I wonder if the lack of buttons becomes a pain.
*Smutek - I hope you dont mind, but I stole your interior design ideas. I'm doing up my boxroom studio and decided on grey walls and red ceiling! Ill post a pic in a week or two when its all oxo.

Ok you win the award for no wires.
Wait, I didn't know it was a competition! Here's my set-up....I am a bit concerned that the cables from the monitors are visible.
Where'd you get that desk? I like it too.
